rhine16
They're about as hot as they get guys. Hopefully my Braves will just go ahead and win the next two, if not, we'll need a little help from the Astros. Also would like to see the Rays push in on the AL side instead of the Red Sox. What do ya'll predict?
toddyboman
Cards blew a golden opportunity last night :chair:
rhine16
I forgot we had a big Cardinal fan on here! Nothing personal, but we're not friends for the next two days Todd
toddyboman
LOL. So I guess you don't want to know that on Sept 9 (friday) I was in STL at the bar enjoying some adult beverage watching the Cards beat the Braves. Then on Sept 10 (saturday) I was at the game again enjoying adult beverages and again watching the Cards beat the Braves. And Finally Sept 11 (Sunday) I was driving home listening to the Cards SWEEP the Braves. LOL Sure hope the Cards play better tonight and the Phillies play just as good or better than they did last night :D:D

MUDRUNNER
The Redbirds aren't done yet! Great comeback win last night. Man, a month ago I sure didn't think we would see the Cards tied for the wild card with one game left. I think at the time they were about 8 games back behind the Braves. I don't think they're pitching or defense is good enough to make it to the NLSC, but it's fun to at least have a chance...you never know what to expect from this team. MUDRUNNER
Unbelievable! Total meltdown of the Braves the last month. On the radio this morning they said on August 25th the Cards were 10 1/2 games back for the wild card. The Cards should have a lot of momentum, hopefully it carries over. rhine16
Boy the Braves BLEW it! Carpenter and the Cards came out and took care of business. It was a great night for baseball though... I was forced to watch the updates on MLB Net because ESPN2 showed the Cards instead of the Braves in my area. That actually turned out to be neat, cause I got to watch most every play from all 4. Great comeback for the Rays, Longoria was clutch. Paps and the Sox mirrored the Braves, blowing their chances. Now I'll be a Rangers fan in October, and a Rays fan if they beat the Rangers in ALDS
