RangerClay
About 8:15 this morning a flock of turkeys walked into my food plot. Unfortunately this hen stopped at 18 yards. THWACK!! The 100gr. NAP Gobbler Getter planted her right on the spot. Sorry this one from the food plot is a little fuzzy. I took it with my phone. ruttinbuc
Nice job on the turkey, Joe. Wish we could shoot while bowhunting. We only have a week to kill a turkey in the fall at an added expense of 21 bucks of course. I don't bother.
Ethan Givan
Nice shot. You got some good eating right there. I have found taking turkeys while bowhunting from a stand to be quite hard, seems like they spot you drawing in a tree easier than if you were on the ground. Ive only been able to take one with a bow.
Hawg7
nice shooting, I bet that was a blast...never been close enough to take a turkey - well done!!
Jeramie
I would love for a turkey to get in range of me this year! It would be a big mistake for the turkey!
toddyboman
How many have you shot with your bow now? Seems like every season you are able to smack one! Major kudos to you......I always get busted on the draw.
RangerClay
How many have you shot with your bow now? Seems like every season you are able to smack one! Major kudos to you......I always get busted on the draw. This bird is #3 in five years. Truth be told. I took the kids out yesterday after school. I managed to get the draw on another bird but on release I looked up to watch the arrow and skipped the arrow underneath. Big time rookie mistake. I won't make the same mistake on Monday with the kids if I get another chance. Edited October 5, 2011 by RangerClay
toddyboman
LOL... I knew it seemed like you smoked one every year. WTG!!! Good luck Monday!
