Ohiobucks
8 does and yearlings in the alfalfa an hour before dark, 1 stupid beagle in the neighbors field bust them, deer run everywhere. Very quiet since then....Getting down now.

Stinger-Hunter
That's a great trail. My fear is that bucks don't often use doe trails. I've been wrong before, though.
bghunter777
I would get in that tree to the left of the trail on that field edge still have all the shooting on the trail plus out into the field where the deer where!
AceArcher
Cool idea...you were able to post that pic from your phone? I might try this also.

Ohiobucks
That's a great trail. My fear is that bucks don't often use doe trails. I've been wrong before, though. I've killed 2 does out of this tree before, seen a few good bucks out of it as well (rut and late season). I was after a big old slick head last night. The deer filter all through that area to get to that alfalfa field...

Tony
looks like a great setup. the bucks might hang back a little near your stand waiting for it to get dark. also anywhere the does are going, in nov the bucks will be behind them. Tony yup i agree. i've been at field edges and hear chasing and chasing all late afternoon before dark but deeper into the woods. come november if you see a group of does moving at a quick pace but not alarmed your golden. just don't stand right where they came through. the buck tailing them with his head down to the ground might just run you over.
