gobblerroller
We got this buck on camera last year as a six point. I could have shot him on three different occasions, but prefer to let bucks grow up and pass on the genes. We called him Next Year because we assumed he would be an 8 point next year. Now, we are calling him "This Year", because he did in fact turn into an eight point. Pretty cool to watch a deer grow up. What would you guys say is his age? I was thinking around 3 and 1/2. dbHunterNY
i was actually just second guessing myself. his body makes me think he could possibly be 4.5 yrs old, but i'm mostly confident in the 3.5 yr old decision.
gobblerroller
I agree with you on the body size. Last season he was a pretty thin deer and he's really bulked up this year.
