colorado bob
Wanted to talk about "spine walking" for my English Setter. On July 31st we were cutting winter fire wood. We roll down the logs from the uphill side down to the pickup. Make a long story short the 1st one landed on my 5 month old pup. We did x-rays, CT's----nothing is broken or severed. No ruptured discs etc. Lots of swelling. 2 months later she is back to be a pup. Always hungry, into everything, chews what ever is around. But she still drags her back legs. We have her in PT. We are doing exercises & we walk her on a treadmill for 15 minutes twice a day. We have a trapzee setup with a bungie cord to hold her back end up & I move her rear legs as she walks with her fronts. The PT says he's 100% sure she will walk. Just will take time. Hope Doc could fill me in on "spine walking". Bob
