Pork loin on the grill

I picked up a pork loin the other day at the store after finding an easy recipe to cook it on the grill.

You need:

4-5 pound loin

A few garlic cloves

Favorite pork dry rub

Olive oil

Foil

Hot grill

I trimmed the loin of most of the fat, covered with a thin layer of olive oil. Cut a few slits in the top and inserted garlic cloves, then coated with some dry pork rub. Wrapped all of it tight in a few layers of foil and let it sit in the refrigerator for a few hours. Got the propane grill nice and hot and put the loin (still in foil) over direct flame for about 10 minutes each side. Cut the flame on one of the burners and cooked it for about 2 to 2-1/2 hours with indirect heat. When the meat thermometer read 160 degrees in the middle, I took it inside, unwrapped it on a cutting board, and covered it loosely with a fresh piece of foil for about 15 minutes. Cut in slices and serve. The whole family and one of my sons friends made short work of this piece of pork!
