WHISKEYSWAMP
Haven't been out as much as I'd like but it has been warm. I did bust a doe Saturday morning so can't complain. :gunsmilie:
ruttinbuc
It has been warm here and my targets are still targets. Got a doe a month ago. Messed up on a good one. Good luck in the NY season, Tim
Randy
I've only been out bowhunting once so far. I've been out killing a few ducks and geese with my son, Avery. He's starting off to a pretty good start as he whacked this one during the youth gun season. The story is in the Deer hunting room... Tominator
Decent dove season that started slow. Only been bowhunting 4 times; pretty busy with the kids and some landscaping.
wtnhunt
Been just ok so far Tim. Been out maybe 5 or 6 times so far, had a skinny yearling doe in range and opted to pass. Have not seen very many deer, seems each year we are seeing less and less. Seeing more turkeys than anything.
dbHunterNY
Tim are you're not home for the southern zone opening weekend at your parent's farm are you? it's suppose to be 65 saturday and 70 sunday for highs. are you vacationing or working all weekend? i need to know if the weather's going to change and a cold front is coming through. lol
redkneck
Whacked two does first two days of the season starting 10-1. Didn't hunt much to speak of last weekend, planted food plots and worked on my house.
Shaun_300
Haven't been deer hunting yet, been out a few times for ducks and grouse. Smoked a grouse on this past weekend, that's about it for me.

Adjam5
Congrats on the 8pter Chris . Our season as Tim stated, starts on this Saturday. I have been flinging my sticks and sighted in my rifles...I am ready. Waited 3 years for a doe tag in my area...got one this year! Does help ease the "no horns in a while pain" Good Luck and hunt safe all.

Texan_Til_I_Die
Made 7 or 8 trips to the bow stand on 3 different ranches. Haven't seen squat for horns. I was afraid it might be one of those years with the drought. At least we got a good rain last weekend. Hopefully it will be enough to get some winter grazing going. OJR
I'm glad you reminded me! I have to make a call to the rancher and order a half of a buffalo! LOL!!

Rhino
Been slow for me compared to past years...I've had young bucks around me but nothing mature. It seems like the does without spotted fawns have been avoiding me so far. Morning hunts have been dead. At least I'm seeing enough game to keep me entertained in the afternoons though. One bright spot was one of my best friends killed his 1st net P&Y buck this past Saturday. A 5 1/2 year old main frame 10 point. I green scored it at 133 1/8" gross, 129 3/8" net. elkoholic
It has been a very slow archery season for sure. Have hunted exclusively for elk and have not even heard a bugle and have seen very little sign. I'm not sure if the wolves have eaten them all or just moved them out of the areas I've been hunting. Usually bump a few big bucks while elk hunting and have not even done that this year. Archery season ends this Sunday and then the general rifle season starts next Saturday and I'm hoping things pick up a bit as we roll into November. Gator
Having a better year this year than last. Seen deer everytime I've been in the stand. Took a doe last Sat morning, and missed one opening day. Heading out here in a few hours to sit in the stand.
The_Kat
was planning on my first hunt this weekend, but I got my hand broke so I am kinda screwed for bow hunting. Looks like just black powder n rifle for me this year unless my hand heals faster.
