archerjg
Does anyone have any experience with the Model 700 Sendero SF II? I was looking at one in the .300 RUM. I have a 700 varmint special in .223 and that gun is very accurate and sweet shooting. One day I would like to go Elk hunting and Bear hunting so that is why I was looking at this caliber. Just looking to see if anyone has had one or had problems with them. Archerjg
dbHunterNY
i don't have experience shooting one, but i've handled one. it seemed on the heavy side. Remington's site says it's 8.5 lbs bare rifle. It looked like a really nice rifle though.
Strut10
A good buddy of mine has a Sendero .300 RUM. It's a shooter. It's also pretty darned heavy. He's taken it to Colorado several times hunting elk. He's a big, BIG boy. So the lugging the extra weight up a mountainside doesn't bother him. Might not bother you either.
