i will first off say in reply to hoosier, A old man once told me that a hunters number one enemy is not peta, new laws, nor any othere non hunting group. but the number one enemy to hunters is actually othere hunters. you will have Jealousy, greed between hunters and like everyone else trying to out do one another. But what hunting should be is like everyone from a big family where we all share stories and have a good time and not put down someone for sharing with others a good conversation piece. I was not the one that killed the deer, just a friend that helped track and film. thanks nick

Don't take it personal Nick, although you are absolutley correct to say other hunters are most of the problem. Gun hunters don't like bow hunters. bow hunters don't like cross bow hunters. traditional bow hunters don't like compound hunters, and guys that climb trees don't like guys that sit on the ground. By the way tell your buddy congrats on the buck and please get a photo of him in the field. Welcome to the forums.

As I said it would have been nice to see you participate in our forums other than just to post this deer and a website link. I do not see any other posts replying to anyone else on here. This happens all the time.

While I enjoy looking at big deer and hearing stories behind them I also don't like "look at me" posts for someone to brag about a deer and then never show up again. If that was the intention you would have been better off to keep those photos and videos to yourself until you sell it to a magazine or something like that and then you get all the national recognition and whatever else that you want.

If that isn't your intent then welcome to the forum and I hope to see you participate in the future.

Regardless of that, the deer is a bruiser and congrats to you guys for taking him on film.

That is a big deer but it is the only one that was in ky. All the rest of the deer here are spikes and four pointers, all the big deer are in the surounding states so there is no use in anyone spending hard earned money to come to ky for an out of state deer hunt.:D

SIZE DOESN'T MATTER, SIZE DOESN'T MATTER, SIZE DOESN'T MATTER. It's my story and I'm sticking to it.

No offense, but if you haven't noticed there is a fraction of the number of people on these forums than there used to be. Your attitude isn't much of a welcome to the forums.

I really don't see it that way. Looked like another self-promotion post to me as well, with links in the sig. Same post can be seen on other sites as well with the same 1 or 2 post count. Spam is spam, massive rack or not, lol.

Kentucky is actually a really good state for big deer. If you remember a few years back NorthAmericanWhitetail did a thing by state. They took B&C entries and divided by the state square miles....KY is #1 or #2...cant remember exactly...but ahead of IL. That tell you that if you are in the woods in KY you have one of the best chances in the world of hooking up with a world class buck.
