Shaun_300
Just wondering if any of the grouse hunters have got any grouse this year. I got a ruffie last weekend, first one seen and killed this year. Only been out the one day though. Could have got a wing shot at another one if it wasn't for 2 million wild raspberry and blackberry bushes clinging onto my legs like a swarm of POed cats! Both my dad and brother have got a couple. Hoping to get out this weekend for a little hunt to get some more.
birdhunter39
In the state of Indiana all grouse hunting is done only on private property according to the hunting regs.
gzilla45
It's been a good year for me so far. I think I've got 6 now and I haven't even tried hunting them yet. Shot 2 last weekend while cutting wood. Seems like they are all over the place around me. Now that the leaves are finally gone I'll get out after them a little harder. Tominator
Haven't hunted them in a few years. Not too many around these parts.
MichiganHunter
Dad and me got 5 last saturday, we met up with a guy and his sons and they shot three more behind our dogs with our permission. We've really hit them well, only went the one day. Dads first bird was/is a HUGE male, were getting him mounted to have a cool addition to our rec room.
