mmiley1040
As a father who has spent countless hours teaching our girls about hunting and the outdoors I am proud to report that my 11 year old daughter, Madeline harvested her first deer with her bow September 24th. The young doe slipped up and gave Madeline a 15 yard quartering away shot and she nailed it. My wife and I have had our kids in the woods since birth, literally. Mady has been rifle hunting since she was seven and has harvested a doe, a buck, a hog and wanted to start bow hunting. We bought her a Bow Tech Razor Edge and she was hooked. After practicing over a year she finally got her chance. We are so proud of her accomplishment. All the parents that spend time with their kids in the woods you know how I feel. If you have'nt had the experience of watching your son or daughters be successful be ready beacause everything about that day from the adrenaline shakes, the shot, and most importantly the look on your kids face will be etched in your mind forever. Sorry for the long thread just really proud of her. Good job Mady we love you.

dbHunterNY
Congrats to her! Sounds like you've got quite the hunting partner. Thanks for sharing! By the way my fiance shoots the same bow and i've got a 21 yr old cousin that's started bowhunting shooting that bow. He shot an 8 pointer last season and this past weekend he got a 6 pointer with it. Also, a member on here just got his 10 yr old daughter one. I'm sure there will be many more to come with her and that bow. Again congrats to you both!
