Blade
After dad shot the 8-pointer I wanted the Shoulder Mount. But, I didn't realize it would take a year! Next year i'll have a deer on my bedroom wall!:jaw:
Shaun_300
Yeah sometimes it takes a while Blade. I waited over 2 years for mine! The taxidermist that I go to is probably one of the best in Ontario so it was worth the wait.
Benjinail
Most of your really good taxidermist will take close to a year to get a finished mount. You can find some that only take a couple of months to do it but you have to watch out for those cause alot of the time they are learning the process and using your mount for the practice. Buddy of mine went through that to try to save some money but the mount just turned out horrible.

Hacks and lowballers and there are many of them out there doing taxidermy.
