I saw a doe being "seeked" out by a little four pointer the other day as I was driving. They ran right in front of my truck. He wasn't being that aggressive, but it was definitely some seeking/early rut type of behavior.

I'm still seeing a lot of bucks in groups, so I they haven't split up yet. For my $$ I also see outright rut activity the 2nd week of November in northest Ohio.

i saw 5 bucks friday evening along with 12-15 does. 2 of the bucks were chasing a few does around in the field in front of me. None of the bucks i saw were together. had a monster 170+ class deer making a scrape 30yds from me but i couldnt get a shot at him. I did end up taking a doe friday. Watched another buck running 2 does saturday morning. Plenty of movement over the weekend, looking forward to going back home Nov 3-6 i'll be in the money

Clermont county has plenty of scrapes. I found one on the quad trail that we walk in on which i thought was odd. Once in my ladder stand i begin looking around and dang right in front of me about 20 feet i see a scrape, then another about 20 yards from that. Plenty of trees all rubbed up as well. As i recovered my doe i found another scrape and she died next to a tree that was rubbed up.

Saw a potential shooter last night at about 200 yards... I didn't have my binos with me but he looked to be at least pope and young, past his ears, and had a good size body on him. He walked up a fence row and made a couple scrapes. I first spotted him standing in bean field around 5 and he bedded down. He got up around 6ish and walked a couple hundred yards into the woods with small buck. It was good to see the first possible shooter moving well before dark.

had a 3 year old 10 point at 50 yards last night... he rubbed a couple trees and made a scrape. This was right at 6pm, same time the buck from the day before was up and moving. nice looking buck and hoping he can get passed the other hunters until next year.

forgot to mention, I seen 3 roadkill bucks on my way to Columbus Sunday, and a small buck standing out in a bean field just off St. Rt. 33. This was around 11ish.
