Ravin R10 man
well it makes sense..crows are scavengers, and they sure make alot of noise on a find. I suppose it brings the larger ones to investigate??
Guest Squirrelbuster
Re: Crow calling for predators.. I just had that happen two me last weekend while I was crow hunting. I was using an electronic cass creek call with the crow in distress call and I had a racoon come within 5 feet of me before I had to stomp at it to turn around and leave (too bad racoon season was closed). Hey Oneida Man, your thinking is correct that crows to make noise while scavenging for food, but dihardhunter said to make really bad crow calls. This is known as the crow in distress call, so that fox was probably looking to eating the crow, not what it was scavenging on.
