Washi
Where can you get new bungee cord from for scope covers? I have a few that need it replaced.
Adjam5
The bungees you are talking about are the really thin stretchy strings that usually come with the factory scopes...right? I have never seen replacements for them. I would think about a arts and crafts store to see if they have anything similiar. OR You could just replace the factory scope cover with Butler Creek flip open/see thru type. Good Luck
stevebeilgard
i'd go with the butler creek also. but, if you want a cheap bungee scope cover, cut a 2" wide strip of auto tire inner tube. works great as a scope cover and even better as an emergency fire starter. Washi
Thanks. I might try the craft store. I really just use them to keep the lenses clean during storage. I don't like using any covers while I'm actually hunting.
hunterbobb
You can buy elastic cord for your scpoe covers at fabric stores. I think Walmart sells it too in their fabric department.
