dcloud_9
Ive noticed that my bow is really loud compared to the people i shoot with, I have a Mission Venture. 70lb pull. It seems to making the most noise when the string hits the Dead End Stop. Any ideas on what i can do to quite it down some? thanks
hutchies
Try backing the stop up to where it isn't in contact with the string all the time. Other than that install some limbsavers and string leeches.

jcot2773
Ok, i gotta ask... what grain and spine arrow are you shooting too? Total finished weight is what i'm asking.
Leo
Ok, i gotta ask... what grain and spine arrow are you shooting too? Total finished weight is what i'm asking. I agree. An arrow that is too light will always be loud no matter what you do. The lightest you can shoot and stay in warranty with a 70lb bow is 350grains. A 350 grain arrow will make the bow shot loud! It will quiet down considerably with 400+ grain arrows. 450 grain is a good number for lots of bows with a 70lb draw weight.
