Tetro
I've seen this used on some hunting shows. They've portrayed to it to be successful. But on some shows they've probably been sponsored by it so they gotta say its good. I'm curious as to seeing if anyone on here has tried it before and your thoughts on the product. Did it work for you or is it a waste of time. I know I have deer near my stand but to entice to come to it on a more regular basis through the season would this work? All comments are appreciated. ChrisSeb53
My buddy set some out in front of a trail cam and in front of another cam he had a pile of corn... not one single deer hit the c'mere deer but he had a lot of pics at the corn pile... it may not prove anything... but I found it interesting
fladawg
Give me some time,i just dumped a gallon of it in my feeder.I'm thinkin it will sling some out with corn,we'll see.I had a buddy give me some a few year's back,it looked more granular, this new stuff was more pellet's.The old stuff i put on a fallen tree, did watch a doe lick it all up.With it in my feeder though it'd be hard to say weather it was c'mere or corn.I know we'll call it "c'mere deer corn"....Ha!.... Tominator
I've never used it, but I have noticed deer hitting my mineral lick lately. Their tracks are right in it.
Rhino
Tried the liquid once about 7 years ago to see if they'd hit it. Results were poor at best. JMHO but if it's legal to bait where you hunt, there are much better options that are a lot cheaper...be it corn, rice bran, or whatever else you know will pull deer in. bghunter777
I have not personally used it but know many people that have! It simply doesnt work you can put it on corn and deer will eat it but you can put corn out as well and deer will eat it just the same. The best bait hands down for whitetail is simply shelled corn it attracts the does and in turn the does attract the bucks! I am a Pa guy so baiting isnt something I have to much expierience with but I know many people that do in other states. As for Cmere deer it is our running joke with my hunting buddys that we will say " Just putt the cmere deer out im good to go" this is purely sarcasm making fun of the people that use it and the product itself! Also I here they are coming out with a new line to best there 3 day harvest. This is going to be called 3 minute Harvest.
Texan_Til_I_Die
You'd be better off buying a Trophy Rock or just a plain trace mineral block at the local feed store. If the deer need minerals, they'll come to it. If you REALLY want to suck in the deer, buy a free choice protein feeder and get some 16 - 20% protein pellets and keep it filled. It may take a while for the deer to get started on it, but once they do it's like sticking a needle in an addict's arm. They're hooked. We don't hunt any of our protein feeders because we want the deer to feel comfortable there and eat as much protein as possible, but at some places they do. wtnhunt
Not legal to use bait here, dunno where cmere deer falls in if it is considered as a mineral or bait, but some people around here use it and wal mart keeps it stocked. Never tried the stuff myself and don't plan to. Have heard mixed reviews on it. For mineral sites, hard to beat a trophy rock.
ruttinbuc
You are better off throwing your money out in the street for the returns some of this stuff gives you. Unbelievable what people buy into.
gobblerroller
Would not recommend it for feeding deer or using as an attractant. We have used this stuff for years and had zero success. However, it does make a good cover scent.
Tetro
Thanks for your comments everyone. It appears that I will be avoiding it this year, and I'll be sticking to my corn feed that I've been using.
