swohiodave
Did anyone see the 96 yard shot he took with his crossbow? That about made me sick. I saw it when watching the wild game nation show when they were following up with celebs that use the products. He shot an antelope i think and the arrow looked as if it barely penetrated but did kill the animal. This, to me, was extremely unethical. The same could have been done with any bow, compound or crossbow but was not a smart shot at all. I really like Craig Morgan's music but after seeing that i really question his judgement. STUPID MOVE that he should not have been bragging about.

Ravin R10 man
tell ya the truth..I turn off the program when any "singer celeb comes on...the last thing I want to see and hear on a hunting show is some twing twang footage..I dont care if it's Nuge, Ross archery guy, Morgan, Blake Shelton..whoever..and far too many shows are full of out takes..what a crock! I want the real deal just the way it happened.
ruttinbuc
Apparently, he is not immune to the stupidity that some inherit with a crossbow in their hands. I hear reports of people taking stupid distance shots with them all the time. True or exaggerated I don't know. The example set by Morgan is totally a stupid move on his part and the producers of the show. Producers who would have been run out of town on a rail for their way of sportsmanship before " its legal" became a catch phrase replacing the word ethical. The only question I have is how many shots were taken before he killed AN antelope? How many might he have wounded? You only see what they show you. That goes for all TV hunting shows. One biased argument for allowing crossbows in many places was for the quick, clean, efficient, killing of the animal. We are finding out here in NJ just how off this argument is. The poor judgment showing that footage will only increase the wounding rates by those who follow the example.
swohiodave
The limits to the crossbow are equal to a compound to me. The arrow he hit the antelope looks like it went in no more than a few inches and fell out. I will not watch it any more.
