gobblerroller
Approximately how much money comes out of your wallet for every hunting season?

MichiganHunter
what is wrong with you, if my girl knew what i was spending on deer season and hunting I would probably be a dead man. So I plead the fifth....:taped:
Tominator
I don't know if I want to think about that. A lot depends on how many deer I shoot or if I need a new piece of equipment. This year so far, my license and tags, gas to and from the stand 3 times, so not much.
ruttinbuc
I never give it a thought other than the tag fees which burn my backside to no end. I have most everything from years past. The only thing new is a couple of trail cams. I cashed in a Cabela's gift card and points for one and got one for a 1/3 off the Cabela's price online from Scheel's. Couldn't pass it up. So I spent $100 of my money all told with some scent killer thrown in.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Really don't keep track. Usually not really much until our deer camp trip rolls around in November.

MUDRUNNER
Never really though about it much. LOL probably a bad thing. Between tags, food plots, gas, processing, and misc. hunting gear (soap, shampoo, arrows, slugs, etc.) I would guess it's close to a grand. Texan_Til_I_Die
Typically $5K +/- This year with the severe drought in Texas it's going to be well into the + side. So far I've fed 7 tons of protein pellets and 4 tons of corn. Even buying bulk, it will add up fast when you start dealing in tonnage. rhine16
Used to be alot more than it is now, but I built up plenty of stands and a more than applicable bow rig in that time.. I've had to tone it down alot though. This year, approximately $30 for salt, $140 for plots(reimbursed for half), $25 for scent away products, and $30 for broadheads. Lifetime license for me, so I don't have that expense. Will have to buy a few arrows in the near future.
dbHunterNY
not really black and white so to speak. a lot of money goes toward stuff used related to hunting, but also for other stuff. like i spent money on diesel fuel/gas and bought a chainsaw to clear a path down to the creek along with a food plot and do some timber stand improvement kind of stuff. it helps the hunting and deer, but i was also doing it to improve the value of my property. picking up a chest freezer to put my processed game in, but i'm also getting it to help save money on food. i bought a new bow that i'm hunting right now with, but i also bought it to help me with my 3D outdoor scores. money spent that can be related to hunting is well over $10k+. I've got a house with land that I can and do hunt on that costs me a mortgage, but i also need a place to live! lol on average per year, at least a couple hundred dollars goes soley toward hunting i'd suppose. WHISKEYSWAMP
I try not to think about it as it would make me realize that I can't afford it.. On average, probably somewhere in the 2-3k range.
Rhino
Don't keep track of it either. It can sure vary a lot from one year to another...especially this year since I made a bowhunt to Africa. With out of state hunts (mostly do it yourself), hunting club dues, gas, food, etc. all I can say is I spend a lot more than the average hunter.
