huntinsonovagun
To hunt with, no. A little too short for my liking for target, but I hear they're very forgiving. I'm 6'4" and wouldn't think twice about buying one because of my size....I'd love to have one!!!!
maddhunter
Re: switchback I am 6' 2" and bought a Switchback with a 30"draw. I love it!!!!!!!!!! It is short enough for me to shoot it accurately on my knees(turkey hunting). At 32 inches it's not the shortest bow, and is still forgiving. Just my 2 cents!!!!!!!!! Chrud
Re: switchback Your height should have nothing to do with what bow axle-to-axle length you get.
VtBowhunter
Re: switchback Chrud is right-on with his answer. Draw length is what's important.
VtBowhunter
Re: switchback It's a good sized bow for shorter folks, but not exclusive to them.
Chrud
Re: switchback With today's new short ATA, long riser bows, short bows are becoming all the rage. With Mathews, the Outback and Switchback both shoot like much longer bows, as their riser is longer than most 36" bows, so they shoot a little better than typical short bows. The new parallel limb "shorties" have nothing be a lot of advantages to any archer.
tedicast
Re: switchback Give a good look at the Vital Bow Gear, Ultimate Fallaway rest. My bro has one on his switchback, and I have one on my Outback. They are a very well built, trouble free rest.
