gobblerroller
I've been using a Remington 700 for most of the season, but also have a 20 gauge Benelli Nova. My question is, will my shotgun shoot slugs? Without having to buy a rifled barrel or whatever. I have modified, improved cylinder and full chokes. Will it shoot slugs through full choke or with no choke at all or will it not shoot slugs entirely? Thanks for your help!
MUDRUNNER
It will shoot slugs just fine. I have plenty of buddies deer hunt with smooth bore shotguns. Throw the modified choke in and get some rifled slugs, and you'll be good to go.

Muzzleloadernut
In my old smooth bore 870 I used to shoot Remington Rifled Slugs. These had less drop than the Winchester or Brenneke. I would buy a box of each and see which shoots best in your gun. I was able to take deer out to 100yds. Without a rifled barrel do not even attempt to shoot a sabot slug. Good Luck!!
