backwoodsbowhunter
Is anyone having the same problem as me? I haven't seen nearly the amount of deer as usual i don't if it's because of pre rut or what but I'm getting very frustrated with it! wtnhunt
Activity really plummeted here the past several days, but I attribute that to the weather. We went from highs in the 50's to lows in the 50's. Getting back to more seasonal today, things should pick back up.
Tominator
I don't know where in Ohio you are, but in my area, doe numbers are down and I think it's due to all this corn still in the fields. Wet spring, and now a wet fall. Poor farmers are having a tough time getting it out. I've seen crap loads of 1.5 year old bucks, and a dash or two of 2.5's, but no bigguns and not many does so far. I'd say get out and hunt now if you can, I think it's really starting to heat up. I saw a bigger buck killed on the road by a local state park this morning. I'll be out somewhere over the course of the next few days.
