Ambuscher
Who else hunts like they have a bow in their hand, no matter what season it is or what they are hunting with???
huntinsonovagun
I do. I shot my blackpowder buck at under 25 yards. I don't hunt fields either, even with a firearm.

Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
I shoot open sights with my muzzleloader, so the closer the better. I have taken one deer with it at around 65 yards, the rest have been at around 20-25 yards.

I do have a couple of bow stands that I leave up throughout rifle season and use, but in general no. My distances stretch way out there to as much as 400 yards. Of course I'm also hunting in some wide open country.
