Monster buck hit by car in NY

Well I'm not sure if this is photoshopped and a hoax or what. Haven't seen this picture around the web. Well here's possibly a big one for NY if the story is true from the email I got. Supposedly it was hit by a car out in the road in a populated area of Vails Gate, NY. That'd be south of Albany, NY along the Hudson river. If the story's true, that a monster of a buck. I'd hate to be a bow hunter going after that thing and find out it got it.

The email about it being hit by a car in NY is hoax...I got pictures of that buck killed via email about 4 years ago, maybe longer. I don't recall where it was killed but it wa killed by a hunter.

Yep, pretty sure I remember seeing that same picture of that deer a few years back, may have even been that it was posted somewhere here on the forums.

yea i think Todd is right. believe it does look like the schmucker buck that was shot with a crossbow i believe. Booner stories pop-up here and there, but ones with 200"+ deer are hard to believe around here.

Actually I am wrong....

This is the Amish buck that schmucker killed in Ohio.

Another record buck was harvested on opening day in 2006. Jonathon Schmucker of Seaman Ohio, located in Adams county downed the 36 point buck on the first afternoon of the 2006 season. The buck scored an incredible 291-2/8, making it the number two whitetail in the state and the largest ever taken with a crossbow in Ohio.

THE buck you have a picture of is the

The Pennyrile Buck killed in Kentucky by an Amish school teacher...

Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources - The Pennyrile Buck

But both make their rounds every year.

I too have heard this year already that "The Pennyrile Buck" was a road kill buck from Missouri, Illinois and Kansas, other stories have heard are that it was poached in Illinois.

But truly it was killed in Kentucky in several years ago.

Tis the season of crazy big buck stories.....
