Jeramie
Here are a few pics of the ducks I shot on Thanksgiving. I actually limited but one was tore up a little too much for the picuture. it was a great morning with approximately 250 ducks coming in within the first couple of hours after daylight. I limited really early and just sat watching them. I went again the next day (friday) with pretty much the same luck. The wind was horrible so they were a little spookier than normal but I still was laying them down. I didnt take any pictures that day. Jeramie
They were actually very, very early. Most of the ducks ive seen were Mallard. They are everywhere. I was already seeing grounps of 15-20 at a time coming to the pond. Ive always seen them early but not typically in these numbers. Usually its all gadwall until mid december but not this year. Mallard everywhere.... I havent seen any Gadwall around.
ckrich
The Gadwall are all out west. That's just about all we got last week, and I only saw a couple groups of 3-4 mallards.Little brother's first duck!
