muggs
This is a video from local Cleveland comic, Mike Polk. I went to Kent. St. with this guy. He speaks for all Browns fans.
Tominator
The Cleveland Clowns in a nutshell: Browns first possession last night, 6 or 7 plays they get it to the Pittstahn first and goal at the 8. I looked at my wife and said "they might score a field goal here...run, play action pass, run, field goal try." Play 1--+2 run. Second and goal from the 6. Play 2--Play action, nobody open, Colt scrambles, dives, apparent TD. "Further review..." 3rd and goal, from literally, the inch line. 1 freakin' inch. I looked at my wife and said "watch." Play 3--Run, left guard crumbles, loss of 1, they kick a field goal. BTW--final score 14-3. Unreal. Glad I fell asleep before halftime cuz' the Clowns were done. muggs
It was ridiculous. A QB sneak on that 3rd and goal gets them the TD. Why are they running stretch plays? Then, when your "rival" has beat you 20 times in their last 22 tries...maybe you can go for it on 4th and goal to try and make a statement and send a message to your team? If they stuff you, they still have to go 99.9 yards to score a TD. Instead, Shurmur decides he wants the 3 points, kicks a 19 yard field goal or whatever, after the kickoff, Steelers start their drive at the 27, and take only 5 plays before they hang 7 on the scoreboard. It was game over right then and there. They're finally starting to lose this fanbase. They've been lucky to be the only team in the league that can average 4 wins a year and still sellout every home game. I think those days are over. A lot of orange seats the last 4 games. Wait, what?!?! muggs
John, since I've said that they've changed head coaches and GMs five times! haha Well, actually, the one thing they've done right under Holmgren and Heckert is draft well. They've gotten all their 1st and 2nd round picks right and that's really all you can ask for in the draft. Really, they need a QB...still. I hope they get the guy in April, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
