hey, that's an easy answer. if wolves are not present in d.c, virginia or florida, they must be endangered. if prairie dogs are not common in california, they must be endangered. fact is, every animal we know is endangered somewhere. there are no polar bears in hawaii. endangered. there are no mule deer in alabama. endangered. there are no moose in arkansas. endangered. got it???

The new policy would clarify that a species could be listed as threatened or endangered if threats occur in a "significant portion of its range," even if the threat does not apply in the entire range.

If it were up to non politicians we could probably agree common sense would go a long ways, but common sense is not so common these days and seems with many politicians is pretty well non existant.

that's just going to make things a whole lot worse. yep steve's right there's no elk, mule deer, or brown bear here in NY so they must be endangered. So Obama must not want us hunting them. See the trend? ....tomorrow everything is endangered. next few months desease starts spreading and killing off many big game so mother nature can get things back into check at some point. soon after endangered wolves and other predators are roaming populated areas in herds just as things warm up and people want to go outside. no big deal though we'll just wait for a more intelligent person to run for office. then we'll fix things. :bang:
