DropTine49
I recently picked up a late 50's early 60's Ben Pearson 45# 709 Hunter recurve. I have gotten good enough to hit vitals on 3d targets at 20 yards shooting completely traditional (It's very different with no sights and coming off of the shelf). I shoot Rockets out of my compound, but what broadheads are the recurve shooters shooting to get the most penetration?
dartonman
Cut on contact...definately....I really love the Nugent blades made by Magnus....I prefer the older black style......they fly true as can be....you may want to take a look at a website called www.3riversarchery.com they specialize in the are of traditional.....best wishes...al
Rhino
Al's right...there are good options to choose from at 3 Rivers. I use the Wensel Woodsman when I break my recurve out. It's cut on contact, 3 blade, 3" broadhead length, so the angle of the cut is high allowing for better penetration. There's others that offer the same thing. Good luck...the other Al
