pointing_dogs_rule
While searching for a new coach (hopefully trying to get the best) the president of the university says: In his first extensive interview since taking office last month, Penn State President Rodney Erickson told USA TODAY on Tuesday that he is seeking to transform the university's public image from a football school to a "world class research institution." Is this guy an Idiot???? Why cann't a school be both? What about Michigan, Stanford, Nebraska, Texas? All have good football programs and great academics. If this is the truth where has this "president" been all these years in not leading the school in the "academic" direction? Even more amazing Penn State was just named #1 in major football schools in academics and graduation rates! "Penn State finally got some good publicity last week with the release of the Academic Bowl Championship Series rankings. This is an annual compilation by the New America Foundation’s Higher Ed Watch blog that takes the top 25 football schools and ranks them academically — principally via graduation rates. Penn State came in first, followed by Boise State, TCU, Stanford and Alabama" Does this guy live in the real worlde??? Nice to know that he has scared just about all coaches away from looking at this job! Only Penn State could screw this up this terribly. Sorry about the RANT.... just had to get it off of my chest. good luck to all the dog
buckbuster11
He already knows by the end of all of this nobody is going to want to play for or coach at PSU for a looooong time. If NCAA decides to bust out some sanctions it will be even worse.
