Hoosierbuck
Finally had a touch of winter here. It didn't help me kill anything, but at least I felt like I was hunting. Saw a couple does and a young buck, no shots. One of the best no-kill hunts of the year, though. Late archery is the last straw now that ML is over. Shaun_300
I love hunting in the snow. Last year we had 6 inches the first weekend in November, not this year, none on the ground and by the look of the forecast we're not going to have any by Christmas either. wtnhunt
Don't get to hunt the snow too often here. We did have a heavy snowfall back in November that I got out for an afternoon hunt in, ended up with little accumulation due to the temp, man was it ever tough to see anything while the snow was falling. Mystery Hunter
I sure miss the snowy hunts I remember as a youth. I lived in Colorado then and my dad and brother used to hunt all the time. We moved to Missouri after that and still had a little snow but now I live in Texas and rarely see any white flakes falling to the ground. I am hoping to make a trip this next deer season to colorado to hunt one more time. I have had 7 heart attacks and will not last much longer, but going to enjoy ever moment I can outdoors in the Wild with Family and friends. I look at things with a lot more respect, what beauty God has put here for use to enjoy and also take care of. A Hunter is one that loves the Wildlife, cares for it and cherishes every moment of every hunt. Most Non Hunters will never be able to look on or appreciate what God has put in their hands. We as hunters need to pass that on to others and mentor our youth to keep this great tradition of hunting going forward so they to can grasp the beauty of it all. Great Pictures Man!! RangerClay
I would trade my entire 3 months of deer season for one week of deer hunting in the snow. There is nothing like it. Thanks for sharing the pics! :gun2:
