COD MW3; A new Craftsman 3/8" ratchet with bonus sockets; a new Wounded Warrior Project UA T shirt; Karl Marlantes book Matterhorn; and a new shoulder mount! (Be done this summer, but still counts!) OH! and a coffee mug with my kids' mugs on it, and a 64 oz. jar of jalapeno rings and 46 oz Frank's Red Hot sauce...

I, my friends, am in high cotton!

Smiles on the kids faces was all I hoped for, I was not let down.

Same here! The wife and I decided a few years ago to not get each other anything for Christmas anymore, and spend the money on the kids. This year they each got a Nintendo DS. Judging by how much they've played them so far, I would say Santa done pretty good.

definitely had a great Christmas...

got a meat slicer and Eden Pure electric heater from the future in laws. got COD:MW3 for Wii, some dress shoes for work, and some clothes from my other half. got some little everyday items and an air compressor for the garage from my parents. brother got me some essentials like duct tape, elec tape, zip ties, and a Walmart gift card. then I got myself a chest freezer to fill and save some money on groceries.

as i said it was an awesome Christmas. Lots of practical things that i need or to help me save money.

Merry Christmas Mike! (Sorry, I missed it). I got the 2011 World Series DVD's from my kids. Well, they didn't know that they had got it for me, but that's what the card said (LOL). Pretty cool because I took them to game 6 in St. Louis. Best game ever! I may screw up as a father, but I'll always be able to pull that one out as a get out of jail free card.

Merry belated Christmas Mike!

I make out a list of items that I would like to have, but I don't expect to get them all. That way I am still surprised when I open my gifts! An air compressor, caliper, and hand held grinder topped the list, and along with a few shirts, gift cards, and some homemade hot pepper relish, I really couldn't be happier!

I got socks and a couple pillows. I needed both. I can't remember the last time I had "new" pillows. I usually just wait for someone here to buy new ones and then I take their old ones, so having brand new ones of my own is weird, lol. Other than that, I don't ask for anything, if people ask what I want I tell them gift cards are fine, but not necessary. I enjoy watching everyone else enjoy their gifts, I have more fun shopping for everyone than anything else. One thing I do wish we would have had on Christmas is snow.

I got some t-shirts and the usual gift cards to use toward my all around license.

What I didn't get was a return of the Merry Christmas message left on this website except from a few. So much for sending Christmas cheer.

Tepid response was the norm to those posts. Look at the low # of

replies across the board, and don't take it to heart. Just accept that your wishes went out, as did ours. After all, buddy, its about giving! :)
