TBow
On Monday I popped the tracks onto my 8X8 argo and mounted the snow plow. I took a tour to the north end of town to fill 'er up with gas, and on my way home, I made a few passes on the parking lot where I work part-time just to see how she worked. There's still 3 days of bowhunting left here in 2011 for whitetails, and if I do get out, I'll have the argo ready for any heavy slugging (wishful thinking). It's been a slow fall, hunting wise for me this year, as we didn't have any luck in the moose draw (although we went anyways just for the adventure), and I picked up a part-time job in November, just when the deer hunting opportunities were heaviest. C'est la vie! I'm looking forward to taking the argo out this winter in the snow to maybe try for some 'yotes with the .243. I saw about 30 turkeys this week where I usually hunt, so that was encouraging. Don't want them coyotes doing a number on them big birds this winter. Shaun_300
Sounds like fun Tbow! Never drove an argo, bet they're a pretty fun rig!
