Deb
I have a Mossburg 500 that I use for turkey hunting. All the different tubes confuse me, which one do I use? I shoot Nitro Turkey 3", 6 shot. I guess what I want to know is what tube does what? Thanks. ( guess I can't spell choke right) Edited January 1, 2012 by Deb
m gardner
Use the full choke if it came with a set of tubes or if after shooting it you cannot get a good killing pattern buy a tighter choke for turkeys. Here's a list of them from the Mossberg website and applications. O.F. LETMGROW
If you buy a choke make sure it is compatible with the shot you are using. I'd contact Nitro and get their recommendation(s). www.nitrocompany.com Lynn Edited January 2, 2012 by LETMGROW
dbHunterNY
I'm not sure if Deb meant actual Nitro shells or the Remington Nitro Turkey shells.
LETMGROW
If she is using Rem. Nitro, these are steel shot. Must be sure the choke is designed for steel. Lynn
