LETMGROW
Got kind of bored this PM so I decided to clean the interiors of my wife's SUV and my Cherokee. Oh yeah, they needed it. The last step was to clean the windows inside and out. The windshield on the Jeep had a film build up on it which glass cleaner didn't want to cut. A trick I learned a long while ago was to saturate a paper towel with brake cleaner. I wiped it on, waited a minute and wiped it off. The window cleaner then did its job pronto. We use brake cleaner to remove those stubborn glue spots which appear when we remove Inspection stickers. Be careful though, don't get it into contact with vinyl or painted surfaces. I like glass cleaner with ammonia in it. NAPA has a great cleaner which leaves almost no streaks. Wait a minute or two and polish the glass with a dry terry towel. If anyone uses a Rain-X type product the brake cleaner will remove old build up so the new application goes on smoothly. Just a couple tips, been quiet in here lately. Happy New Year to all. Shaun_300
I think the best window cleaner I've used is warm water with some vinegar in it. Gets them crystal clear!
