wtnhunt
Gas prices have jumped here about 30 cents over the past couple days. Was actually under $3 a gallon here for a few days, and now most everywhere is up close to $3.30. This crap with Iranian threats hearing speculations that gas by the gallon might go more than a dollar higher or more over the next month or so. Some reports have it that we have thousands of troops deploying to Israel right now, with the growing tension figure it is only so long before Israel makes an effort to take out Iran's nuclear facilities, just hope the Obama admin does the right thing here. Shaun_300
We're still sitting at $1.17/liter or $4.42/gal, lowest it's been in a long time. Noticed on a roadtest yesterday afternoon a station a half mile up the road was $1.28/liter or $4.84/gal. They're always more expensive than everyone else, but had jumped 8 cents/liter overnight. So I imagine it's only a matter of time before the rest of the gas stations raise their prices.
Dawg
What news source did you get the deployment of American troops to Israel from?
m gardner
What news source did you get the deployment of American troops to Israel from? It's not covered by any mainstream news like so much that has happened over the past few years but eventually surfaces like Fast and Furious did. Here's one source there are others too. You do realize we have supplied the Saudis and the United Arab Emerites with aircraft and have been training pilots here in Az because of the Iranian threat? wtnhunt
boo hoo....my diesel is still over 3.70 a gallon. I'm happy for 3.50!Diesel up is hurting everyone Kyle. Fortunately this time of year I am not burning much diesel in my tractors, but yeah it has been higher than gas for a good while and so are the costs of anything consumers buy. What news source did you get the deployment of American troops to Israel from?Read about the deployment in an article online Corey, have not heard anything about the deployment on the tv or radio, seems all that is being talked about in regards to our military is the cuts Obama plans and the "End of the war in Iraq". Tominator
It's around $3.49 here. Pretty happy with my Chevy Cruze though. I fill up for $32 and drive it for almost 2 weeks. It's averaging close to 39 mpg.
Adjam5
I paid 3.23 this morning in New Jersey. Just the taxes alone make NJ gas 35cents cheaper than NYS.

LETMGROW
yep. diesel is the sludge left at the bottom of the barrel, and it costs more. i'm at 3.84. but, it's going to get much worse. This is a misnomer that has been around for years. Especially with the advent of catalytic converters and the auto burn off systems the diesel is more refined than ever. Now that sulphur is removed ( much like lead in gasoline ) the additives to bring " octane " levels to an acceptable level are much more expensive. The new urea injection systems will only be efficient with clean burning fuel. I don't blame the oil companies as much as I do the speculator commodities traders. With all we have done in the Middle East we shouldn't be paying for crude oil anyway. Just my opinion. Lynn BTW saw a sign for diesel last night $ 4.299 Edited January 15, 2012 by LETMGROW
