fly Posted February 3, 2012 Report Share Posted February 3, 2012 Hey, I'm finishing up my first Texas as well. Pictures soon. I'm repairing a couple antlers so it's taking me longer. I'd brush some 40 volume peroxide on the skull and let it sit out in the sun a couple days to whiten it up. dbHunterNY Posted February 8, 2012 Report Share Posted February 8, 2012 i agree with stuff posted. could use a little peroxide and mild degreaser. i could see a slightly bigger plaque looking better. regardless of what i just said and as is, the mount is very cool. heck of a buck and awesome idea for the plaque. i'd be happy to hang it my place.
