Shaun_300
If you don't want to beat the heck out of your truck you should invest in an older 4x4 truck that you don't really care about dings and scratches. Older 90s Chevy trucks take a lot of abuse. Dad had an 88 regular cab long box, that thing went places you'd never take a daily driver truck. Sure it got scratched up and some dents, didn't really care about the cosmetics.
mainehunter895
Well you can say that again the older trucks are built alot better then these newer ones..but see we have a guides business and the big man says looks are what matters along with dependabilty! So we have a 2008 an its been a good truck but its just too bad to treat it like we do. Some of the places we put that poor old girl just aint right! LETMGROW
I have a 4-wd ATV, 2 4-WD tractors, a 4-wd pickup and 2 feet. My favorite buggy though is my Jeep Cherokee 4-wd. I use this all the time. All spring it is loaded up with chainsaws, clippers, tools, and safety tools. In the summer it has a complement of tools and spare parts for machinery repairs. It carries seed, fertilizer, chemicals, and planters when planting. If I have too much to carry I hook up my 4x8' trailer and load it up. I carry tree stands and all the gear to put them up with. It gets used constantly. The Jeep was given to me 3 years ago by the fellow I rent my shop from. I never charged him to work on it so he claimed I earned it. I wasn't going to license it when I first got it but it ran so good I decided to. She's a little rusty but I don't belong to a Country Club so why do I care? Actually I cleaned it up this winter and shampooed the interior and it looked like new inside. A few shots of appliance white paint after cleaning off the rust and it is almost presentable. I had a deer run out in front of me last spring and I waffled it badly. I looked the Jeep over and the only damage done was a crack in the bumper guard. A couple shots of super glue and we were good to go. Had it been my Chev. pick up I'd still be crying over a $ 3,000 parts bill. I wouldn't hesitate to jump in this thing and drive to California without a worry in the world. Heck, if it quit, I'd get a ticket home on a Greyhound and give it to somebody so they could have some fun too! Lynn
