This will be my 2nd serious year. 3 years ago I wandered around with my brother now and then while he was turkey hunting but I never hunted until the next year. I used to only go a time or two every year until about 5 years ago i really got into it. So far i have killed 9 turkeys. I started out when i was 12. Really didn't know what i was doing. My area in Maine opened up in 1996 and the lottery wasn't always good to me, but whether or not I had a permit was irrelevent...I could be found out in the turkey woods just being happy calling for others.
