Deer #1 had 48 0/8" on the right, 50 2/8" on the left, a 22 0/8" spread credit (actual inside spread 22 2/8" and tip-to-tip of 20 2/8") and only 4 4/8" deductions.

I had my fractions in score backward in my last post. It grossed 130 2/8" and netted 125 6/8" (green).

You shoulda seen this deer's daddy at 3 1/2 years. Main frame 8 pointer at 153 2/8" !!!!!

Its all the fault of Gary Alt! :jaw:

LOL. Guess whether AR's help are still a good topic of debate. At least PA does not have liberal harvest limits.

Fooled me for sure on that first one Don, always fun guessing. I usually kinda guess based on deer pics I have seen with scores or compared to actual deer I have scored, I don't take the time to write down measurements and add up the inches when looking at pics, but I figured with looking at the pics that the deer had a 21 inch inside spread and beams around 23 inches long with the g-2's around 5-6 inches and the g-3's around 4 inches. Now looking again at the side view I am guessing I was maybe off a couple inches on the beams, they may be more than 25 inches. Am I off on the tines by much? Those tines did not look long enough to me for the deer to gross quite that high but I was clearly wrong on the beam length.

Real shame that buck was a victim of scumbag poachers. You have some great wide genetics going on there.

Yeah. We seem to have developed a bit of a problem with outstanding deer dying odd deaths or just plain disappearing around here. Only a couple of them have been found dead. But both of those were shot outside of season with full metal jackets. We can only hope that somebody's mouth will run some time.

I dont get it. 48+50+22=120 2/8" gross 120 2/8 - 4 4/8 = 115 6/8" net

What am I missing to make it a 130" deer???

I don't see 130" at all on that first deer.
