SuperMn106
I have an 07 Chevy Colorado. Over the past year there has been about 3-4 times where the truck would not start. It would roll over (and sound like the battery has plenty of juice to roll over) but sounded like nothing was firing. It would just sit there and roll over. Every time I would let it sit anywhere from 15 mins to 6 hours, (let it sit 6 hours while i went out hunting) everytime it would start right back up. I went and bought a new battery but it did it again a month afterwards. I have tried to jump it but like I said by listening to it, it has enough juice to start. I took it the local dealership and they said the put it on the computer and it showed my 3 month old batter has 0 cold cranking amps and that was my problem. I dont think it is. If that was it wouldnt my truck never start? My cousin who is a mechanic said it sounds like to him that it is in the fuse box under the hood. Something about the fuse to the fuel pump relay could not be connected good or something like that. What are your thoughts?
Shaun_300
I have seen the underhood fuse blocks cause problems with those trucks. Some of them had poor terminal contacts and would cause all sorts or weird issues. Next time it happens have someone crank it and wiggle the fuel pump relay and powertrain relays to see if it fires up.

LETMGROW
Another thing you might try the next time it doesn't want to start. Place a funnell in the fuel tank neck, have someone turn the key on and listen in the funnell. You should hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds. If you don't hear anything you have a problem in the pump system. Could be the pump, wiring or connectors to it or a bad relay. Also find the ground wire and be sure it is in good condition and clean. Lynn
