Finally...some Gobbler Pics

I generally don't have a problem catching gobblers on trail cams where I do most of my spring turkey hunting. It's sure been difficult to find them this year though. Finally I located a few on one cam. It was a rainy evening & these birds showed up this day. So far that's the only day they've been there. Last spring I had a gobbler make a fool out of me near here. He's probably one of the birds in the trio. I'll try to figure out where there roosting soon. Season opens March 15th. Not long now till...game on!

Due to family issues lately, I haven't been able to check my cams in MS. Got some gobbler flock pics from 2 cams we left in MO during the latter part of deer season. Both cards are full but when I have the time to go through them, I'll post some MO gobbler pics. There's about 10,000 pics to review in those 2 cards. :p

Al I can't wait to read your adventures of hunting these birds this spring!

Good luck!!

I'll do my best in MS! Won't be long now till the opener on March 15th.

:D

I hope to bag 1 or 2 of those big bodied midwestern eastern birds in MO too...and a Rio or 2 in KS. Should be another memorable season.

Man, I wish we had easterns here. Im sick of hunting these Merriam and Rios. I just want to kill a big eastern!

I used to say the same thing about Merriam birds Ben. Hunting Merriams in the mountains is an awesome experience for a flatlander. Some breathtaking scenery to go along with the hunt chasing those birds. Some day I hope to hunt them again.
