Stone Cold
Went out today with only finding one. It is a two pointer right side. I did jump my herd and I did not see my big brow tine buck. I need to hit it hard this week just in case he shed. Need to beat the other hunters plus the tree rats! Here is my shed from today! Stone Cold
Today was a good day and a so so day! I took my baby girl with me to hit another spot where the big brow tine buck hangs out. My daughter is still in her hunt for her first ever shed WITHOUT dad seeing it first! HE HE HE. She is now walking out from me on her own and not as scared in the woods. I sure wish she would find it soon! I did manage to find one but boy it is an oldy and not sure how I missed it over the past year. The food plot that it was found in is two years old and I walked it last year so I missed it. Here is my daughter and the old shed.

Stone Cold
What a nice day! I took my daughter for a Harley ride then to her singing lessons. After that I decided to go for a walk. I had a hour and half to go for daylight. I started in on a trail that I have not walked for about two weeks. I then came up on the creek where I walked Saturday and found a four point shed that was a fresh one. It still had some goop on the pedicle end of the antler. I was only about 10 minutes into my walk when I found that one too. I then walked up on the hill where my buddy HOSS hangs out at. The herd of deer were hanging up there looking to head to the field. I then did a circle through that area and came up on another 4 point shed that still had blood on it. I did another circle to see if I could find another one but no luck! I did not see HOSS so I hope that he is still sporting so that I can find them next time I go out. I will be trying to hit it hard now that I leave in 11 days for Jamaica! Here are my sheds from today!

Stone Cold
Stone Cold up to 14 Points! What a day again! I went to my honey hole today and did not find any for 4 hours. I then walked on the edge of some property that is owned by another owner who has been told to stop trespassing on the property that I walk. I then noticed a small 4 point shed in his field about 10 yards off the property line. Since it was on his property I did not go get it since I am sure I would not of been welcome. He was out earlier in the evening and I am sure he was watching. So I chalked that one up as a possible. I did go on a 4 wheeler ride and found three others. Here they are: Edited March 15, 2012 by Stone Cold

Stone Cold
I got a different angle at the guys shooting box and it is the guy that has been told to stay off the property. I saw his trail cam mounted on the box. He is trying to get us to go over to get the antler on his property now. NOT! I stood there for a minute then took pictures of the shed again and then the box and shed together. Next thing I know here he comes from his house on his 4-Wheeler and to a surprise to him the shed was still there! HE HE HE!!!!! He drove in between the shed and the hut then followed me for a minute until I stopped then he went across the field. I guess he did not want to talk! LOL Cant get me you prick! Here is the shed in the circle with the hut that has the trail cam on it.
Stone Cold
Went for a walk this morning after the rain that we got. I was not even 5 minutes into my walk when I found a nice 5 point side. Then I jumped a herd of about 20 deer with one of them sporting a half rack. I looked all over the property until my legs got tired and did not find it. I did manage to find another small 4 point shed. Here are my pictures from todays finds and half racked buck. Stone Cold
It is getting a little green out there so I hope that HOSS drops his sheds soon. Here are my big ones for the year so far! 73 2/8" "Set A" 66 1/8" "Set A" 65 3/8" "Set B" 63" "Set B" 62 4/8" 55 3/8" 55 1/8" The rest are under 50" so I hope to score some more big ones! Hoss you better hurry and drop buddy. I jumped two deer today and Hoss was one of them. Both had full racks and both are 140 or better bucks! dbHunterNY
those are definitely nice sheds. i can't seem to find one for the life of me. at least around here. it's good to know that despite bumping HOSS multiple times he still stays in the area. Wouldn't want him to drop them on another property. that guy with the hut is something different. too bad you guys don't have a better relationship. Grid searching for about 5 hours only covers half of the property. If the green stuff do not beat me to covering them up I will find them. Otherwise I might be in some deep crap with the tree rats! dbHunterNY
When you're grid searching how far apart are the paths you walked? Do you glass much? I try to stick to deer trails, spots where they bed, and where they'd jump over or across something. Maybe I should be covering more ground than that. dbHunterNY
i take it you didn't find HOSS sheds? i never seemed to find any. not much survives over 1.5 yr olds around where i hunt. so know that makes it hard, but still there has to be sheds out there somewhere. wish i could've helped the teams score, sorry. Stone Cold
No HOSS sheds found! Now I just hope that he dropped them in a spot that I walk by next year that the tree rats dont know about.
Stone Cold
On my grid search I walk about 30 yards from where I walked last. In taller grass I walk even closer. I start on one edge of the woods then keep walking back and forth until I get to the other side.
