EastTnHunter
Really hope Im not getting burned because Ive never done it before but Ive got a gun in the law away program from budsgunshop.com and Ive selected a FFL who's agreed to do the transaction. It nerve racking doing it this way only because Ive never done it and Im trusting a stranger with my new 1,200 Win SX3. Im saving about $200 buying it this way have any of you made gun transactions this way?
wtnhunt
Yep. Heard of budsgunshop, but not bought from them. Bought a few from dealers who are online though. I would not hesitate to buy from RB precision again, both my AR's came from them.
RangerClay
I have only bought one gun on-line and I could not have done it without the help of the members here at RT. Here is a link with some great advise for first time on-line buyers. http://www.realtree.com/forums/rifles-accessories/51666-buying-gun-line.html
92xj
Bud's is great to deal with. I have bought a few from them. No need to worry about them. I didnt do the lay away though, I just paid in full and my gun was at my ffl in 2 days. I would call them back and tell them you made a horrible mistake and meant to order the SBEII. And yeah, I got your message. Heading back to the cabin today, tractor is being delivered. I will call sometime. I hate talking on the phone though.... snapper
I have an FFL and bought and sold guns online (gunbroker.com). No issues from sellers I bought from.
Shaun_300
I've drooled over some guns on gunbroker.com but the hassels of shipping across the border is just too much! I'm sure you'll be ok Lynn.
EastTnHunter
Buds wont ship to canada anymore shaun. I really love the way the SBEII feels ben but Im spending $400 less than a SBEIII for a SX3 and the SX3, Browning MAXUS, Browning Silver and SBEII all felt great. I really had a hard time choosing between those and probably would've went with the MAXUS but I got a great deal for $1,100 for the SX3 shipping included. The bass pro in store prices are as follows SBEII $1,599.00 SX3 $1,299.00 MAXUS $1,299.00 and Silver $1,150.00. Buds quoted me a SBEII $1,446.00 shipping included. They are all great guns and I highly doubt Id go wrong with any of them.
Strut10
I've done business wth Bud's before. Very good folks to deal with. I've bought a lot of guns on-line. Never had any major problems................except the one the Post Office mangled then refused to pay the insurance claim.
