Prime rib rub?

Don't have a set recipe. But when I grill a prime rib I use:

About equal parts kosher salt & rosemary leaves............ probably 1/4 to 1/2 cup of each.

About equal parts of oregano, basil and ground black pepper........... probably 2-3 Tsp of each.

I'm bad at writing down what I do. I just put stuff together until it looks about right.

I don't think you need a whole lot more than salt and pepper, but of course I would add more. More importantly is that you actually get a prime cut, most of the standing rib roasts you see in the market are choice, and it makes a big difference when cooking due to the marbling difference.

I'm not good with them on the cooking end, I do specialize in eating them though. :eat:
