The numbers are not there like they were when you and Christina were there. We went full days without seeing any elk at all this year. There were zero in places Steve said yall saw hundreds. Saw a few very nice bulls, shame it was not elk season and we did not have elk tags when we were there, we saw way more elk than we did mule deer. stevebeilgard Posted February 24, 2012 Report Share Posted February 24, 2012 the rancher said the elk have moved back in. not sure what happened but the elk are there. i guess they just went to their fall home... lol. the antelope are 80% there and had just moved onto a mine property. we really never looked much for antelope, but they were most certainly not where we were.
