Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
I enjoy both. But if I had to pick one over the other I'll take hunting over fishing.
ClassicCar94
I haven't gone hunting yet but I've been fishing many times. I've watched the hunting shows on TV and its a lot more interesting than sitting at the lake for hours on end with no fish biting. So I go with hunting! toddyboman
Hunting!! I haven't gone hunting yet but I've been fishing many times. I've watched the hunting shows on TV and its a lot more interesting than sitting at the lake for hours on end with no fish biting. So I go with hunting! Hunting on tv is not the same as hunting for yourself. You only see the best parts of the hours/days/weeks that person spent in the woods trying to harvest an animal. ckrich
I am hopelessly addicted to both, and wouldn't have it any other way.

wtnhunt
Loved fishing when I was a kid growing up in Florida, but never had anyone take me hunting. Loved anything to do with being on the water and we were on the water a lot. Have not been fishing much since moving from Florida, but deer hunt pretty well every chance I get. redkneck
Gotta go with hunting, if for no other reason, making fish sausage is too hard and not very tasty.
stevebeilgard
i like both, but i vote hunting. it's more difficult and a bunch more fun. it's tough, though, because my fishing includes pulling up crab pots, and there's nothing better eating that what's in those crab pots.... and that includes what's in the shrimp pots. The Bug House
Hunting or Fishing Ive done all sorts of fishing, from back country lost ponds for native trout and bass, Big northerns and lakies through the ice. Giant Tuna & Mako Shark fishing 70 miles offshore. 14lb Fluke and Bluefish & 50lb Stripped Bass off Montauk Point. Grouper and Yellowtail in the Caribbean. All sorts of crab pots/traps chasing blue claw and stone crab. I've only been hunting for about 5 years, mostly Turkey, Grouse and Deer, and I'll take Turkey hunting over all that fishing with the exception of that little un-named north country pond. Gliding effortlessly over the glass calm surface and the commotion made by hooking into a big one is my favorite!
Adjam5
I grew up around the salt water of the Long Island sound fishing most of my childhood. I thought that was my first love...Until I heard the sound of a gobble at 6am! Hunting...all the way. Fishing is what I'll do when I'm not hunting. Missilelock
Ive always been a hunter first, but the last couple years ive been so digusted with other hunters being greedy about hunting spots, and the cost of leases, and lack of game and all of that crap that I have turned to fishing where all of the lakes are public and I dont get any grief. Shaun_300
I voted for hunting, but it's seriously a tie. Couldn't pick one over the other I don't think. In the fall I love hunting, in the winter and summer I love fishing.
pruts
I fished as a kid and still enjoy it. 3 years ago I started hunting, the first day out sitting on the ground with a bow and seeing deer even though I didn't get a shot made me a hunter. So I vote hunting.
deer slayer
I love fishing and hunting, but I'd rather go hunting.
rhine16
Hunting or Fishing Not even a question for me, hunting. I have a really nice pond with bass that are topping out around six pounds now, but it just doesn't do much for me.
