The_Kat
On a job interview/vacation trip to Colorado and am currently in Woodland Park, CO just outside of Colorado Springs. Went up to pikes peak today before being chased down the mountain by a snow squall. It's absolutely breathtaking up here. Pics do NOT do it justice. Headed to Denver in the morning for my interview and then on up to Fort Collins and surrounding areas to be shown around. Good chance I will be relocating to the area if all goes well tomorrow. Frozen lake on mile 4 or 5 of the Pikes Peak HWY. Looking up at the range from Colorado Springs Ute Pass Panoramic view of Pikes Peak....we couldn't get to the top due to the snow storm approaching. stevebeilgard
i lived in the springs for 4 years. best all around weather of any place i lived. and, you're an hour away from deer, elk, and a bunch more. ft. colling holds hundreds of thousands of geese all winter, and waterfouling is great. go west, young man, go west.
