kcall
In a early season bowhunt in south Arkansas what would you guys prefer to be hunting over? Corn, milo, or soybeans? Also what is a good way to make a homemade wind detector?
Cole14bowhunting
food plot hunting. I like corn and rye grass the best but I hunt in Louisiana

Leo
In my experience they will get out in the soybeans and eat the plants before the beans are even on them. They tend to not browse on the corn plants as much. On soybeans find the part of the field the plants are significantly shorter than the rest of the ones in the field. That's where the deer are coming out and munching the most.
wtnhunt
Welcome to the forums. Think any of those could work out well, but early season think beans might be the best draw.
dbHunterNY
beans, clover, or alfalfa for early season. also talc powder in a small contact solution bottle works well for a wind detector. the manufacturered stuff isn't that expensive though and easier to just to pick up at a sporting goods store.
