bbarcheryhunter
Here it is spring training and i was wondering who everybody is rooting for.we as cardinal fans have a lot of changes after we won it all last fall but wat a ride it was .one for the books thats for sure.i wish pujols, larussa and dave duncan the best even though it makes me a little sad that pujols didn't finish his playing years as a cardinal .but we still r the 2011 world series champs and we have a great ball club and i think we r still going 2 b a playoff team this fall.i'll b waiting 2 see wat everybody else has 2 say, GO CARDS !!!!! MUDRUNNER
Around here is Cardinal nation. Honestly, on paper, i would say the Redbirds have a better team than they did last year. On top of that they just signed Yadi to a solid contract. If Berkman, Freese, and Yadi contribute like they did at the end of last season, Wainwright has a solid comback year, and Beltran can deliver, the Cards will be a contender again this season. First things first though...Blues got to win the Cup.

Randyman
I have lived my entire life within 40 minutes of Busch stadium and have been a Cardinal fan literally as long as I can remember. I agree with what MUDRUNNER said. Looking forward to another Baseball season. GO CARDINALS! :toot:
waterfowler
BOSTON RED SOX! We are gonna win it all this year!
SuperMn106
I am a die hard Tigers fan since I grew up in Michigan, but moved to Missouri a little over 4 years ago and became a Cards fan also. Cards are gonna be tough this year. Glad we (Cards) did not resign pujols with the amount of money he wanted. Like mentioned above it is basically the same team but with one of the best arms in baseball coming back. I could honestly see, barring any big injuries, it could be a Tigers vs Cards World Series. MCH
I bleed Dodger Blue. Once we get the whole ownership situation figured out, watch out. We should be major players before the trade deadline and in next year's free agent market. With Kershaw and Kemp locked up for a couple years, we are looking good. MCH
Always have been a big Braves fan. Also a Rangers and Rays fan. Wannabe Rangers fan here as well. I've been to 3 games in the past two years and planning on making 2 or 3 more in 2012.
rhine16
Went to Texas for two last year. Their games are alot of fun. Hard not to be a Ranger fan for me. Big fan of Josh Hamilton and Mitch Moreland played his college ball at Miss State. Can't help but love the way Michael Young plays the game. Andrus and Kinsler are a ton of fun to watch. Cruz and Beltre have a ton of "pop". Oganda has a lot of upside I think and Yu is going to be fun to watch. Holland and Lewis are gamers. Always try to make a few in Atlanta each year, and since I missed out on it last year I'll be headed to Turner for a weekend set this year. Unfortunately, that is probably all I'll be able to afford. gzilla45
Cubs fan here. Just hoping the team can be competitive this year. Have a feeling the division will come down to a race between the Cards and Brewers.
shawn8157
have to say cardinals and like many of us, I'm glad we did not spend the money to keep albert. Cardinal nation is stronger than than any one player. My true sports love is the SEC and the Razorbacks, college sports are by far better than the pro level. At least to me
fly
I think the Cards will make the playoffs this year. They need to work with Holiday and get him to produce when it is most needed. That's key to the next season. Albert made his choice, he never seemed to be in the same league (in character) as the Cardinal legends. It would be odd seeing his statue at the stadium. However, I must say this about every 2011 Cardinal player... I took my kids to game 6 of the series last year and it was the best night of my life. So thanks to all the Cardinal players that took an underdog team from almost done, to number one.
