johnf
I'm getting a new 4 wheeler sometime this spring and have really looked hard at the Suzuki Ozark. I'm only 5'6" and 180lbs. not looking to do any racing or real tough work, so I'm really just interested in the 250 class bikes. They look like the best bike for the $$ on paper. Does anyone have one, ridden them ect. If so, how satisfied with it have you been?
JimT
Re: Four Wheeler I have a Honda Rancher. Works for me. The Ozark will work plenty fine for your hunting needs i'm sure.
dogdoc
Re: Four Wheeler I'm not familiar with the Suzuki---but they make a great dirt bike so I am sure their ATV are top notch. I have a Yammie Big Bear and love it! It is one heck of a work horse. todd
snapper
Re: Four Wheeler Not sure about the Ozark...but I have an older Suz. king quad (300cc) and it runs good. It will still "work" with some of the biggest machines out there. I don't think you can go wrong with a Suz. [ QUOTE ] The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have independent rear suspension like my Polaris Sportsman [/ QUOTE ] Should have said..."it doesn't have independent rear suspension like some older Suz. quads". I often wonder when was the first 4wheeler made with independent rear suspension?
OJR
Re: Four Wheeler I have a Honda and it has treated me great for over 15 years! Friends of mine have Suzuki's and I have to sit and wait for them all the time because they are very cold blooded critters! Also these same people have spent a bundle on maintence! If it isn't one thing it is another with the ones they have! I'll stick to Honda!

Most people think Polaris invented IRS, but Suzuki had IRS before Polaris was building quads.

fisherguy
Re: Four Wheeler Not the ozark, but we have 2 king quads and love them. There are lots of good brands, but the suzukis seem to be bulletproof(not literally, just don't break lol), and teh gearing gives them a lot of power. I would highly recommend a Suzuki!! bowhtr1
Re: Four Wheeler I like the Honda Forman but the Rancher would be great for what you want. You can get some good deals at http://www.lakehillmotors.com/ They even have some 2004 models with really low prices. I have had nothing but good luck with Honda and I have had at least one for the last 25 years. My first was at 185. Good luck.

huntaholic
Re: Four Wheeler I have a polaris 330 4x4. All I have to say is dont buy a polaris. Their warrinty isnt worth a darn and I have to many problems with it. The main fuel line plugged up on it and i was stuck using the reserve line. I was about 8 miles from home and I ran out of gas. I had to sit there for about an hour before some one picked me up
dodge4x4
Re: Four Wheeler i have hondas.....300's and then a 500, the 300's are good, but im not sure, they mite only make 350's now a days so im not sure......but as far as i can find, honda's are the best. all my family has hondas except one little suiziki 90cc and a polaris trailboss 250, and hondas have always done the job and and gone a LOT longer with out needing any repairs. wtnhunt
Re: Four Wheeler [ QUOTE ] A koboata!! they cant get stuck i am serious!! [/ QUOTE ] Have seen those kubotas utility vehicles, and nice as they are, I am sure they can get stuck. They have quite a hefty price tag as well. Not quite comaparable to a 350 class 4 wheeler.
